FEATURES

The Lightweight Demining Helmet (LDH) provides head and face protection against blast-type anti-personnel (AP) mines.

  • The helmet has ventilation holes to help reduce physiological heat stress.
  • The full-face visor provides protection against Fragmentation, Overpressure, Blast-induced Head Acceleration and Heat/Flame.
  • An optional, anti-fog appliqué can be added to the inner and outer surface of the visor of the LDH for an increased level of scratch-resistance and reduced misting.
  • Widely deployed in demining theatres.

Proven through extensive live blast testing.
